Ways of improving the effectiveness of the Russian mineral resources base of scarce minerals reproduction

Article preview

In article the problem of deficiency of some minerals in Russia is considered. Internal demand of these minerals is not provided with current level of extraction and satisfied mainly by import. The analysis of the mineral resources base of scarce minerals is carried out and the basic directions of its development are defined. The peculiarities of prospecting junior sector formation are considered as perspective ways of improving the effectiveness of the Russian mineral resources base of minerals in short supply renewal. The complex of measures to attract investments of the large mining companies in the mineral resources sector of minerals which are in deficiency in Russia now is offered.

Regularities of formation and distribution оf the zonal groundwater of the Eastern caucasus (on the example of Dagestan)

Article preview

Regularities of formation and distribution of the zonal groundwater of the Eastern Caucasus have been considered. On the territory described the hydrogeological and hydrodynamic zones have been characterized. In the zone of active water-exchange preferential development belongs to fresh underground waters associated with alluvial deposits. The presence of deep faults in the Caucasian and anti-Caucasian areas, numerous intrusions of various ore-compositions led to the variety of mineral springs and regularities in their distribution.

Overview of the main risks of the enterprises of mining and metallurgical branches in modern conditions

Article preview

The mineral-raw base of the extracting company is simultaneously both object of risk, and risk factor. The user of bowels doesn't possess all completeness of knowledge of a structure of  bowels in which limits it carries out the activity. It leads to occurrence of the mountain risk, which influence on economic activities of the mining enterprises rather considerably. Are rather probable risk of loss of a share of the market because of biased from a position the market of an estimation of stocks of minerals, risk of security stocks of minerals. In the Russian Federation essential value gets political risk. The successful organizations achieve results thanks to the ability to find an optimum parity  of risks and benefits both in strategic, and in the tactical plan.

Conditions of formation of mining complexes providing their sustainable development

Article preview

Possibility of formation of a mining complex arises on the basis of advanced industrial production, in the conditions of growing technical progress, in the presence of sufficient financial assets as only in these conditions it is possible to solve most full a problem of maintenance of manufacture without waste by means of the closed production cycle including system of the industrial and production and serving enterprises, system of effective preservation of the environment, on the basis of introduction of modern methods of the organization and management, planning and the manufacture account. The sustainable development of the mining enterprises is in a greater degree predetermined by interrelation between the enterprises entering into a mining complex. At the same time, the concrete maintenance of the economic relations, which influence is still insufficiently full opened on, all system of the enterprises would transform them into a uniform complex.

Strategic estimation of major investment projects of the mining companies

Article preview

The investment policy of the large integrated companies at mineral and raw material sector and fuel and energy complex provides strategic investment, is directed on full modernization of profile actives, dynamical placing of actives, portfolio strategic investment that allows to manage value of the company. The choice of a method of an estimation of the strategic investment project should consider the factors: type and character of the project, level of detailed elaboration of estimation, the budget of the project and capital structure, degree of development of the financial market, feature of the taxation. Complexity of an estimation of strategic investment projects in the mining companies is caused by necessity of correct definition of term of realization, a correct choice of a method of estimation, the importance of the account of dynamics of environment and specificity of emerging markets for the Russian conditions.

State of the art and perspectives of development of the departmental cadastres of natural resources

Article preview

The cadastre is a method of the account and estimation, which answers of modern administrative and economic conditions most of all. The analysis of the existing cadastres of natural resources demonstrates, that they do not answer new administrative and economical ratioes reshaped in Russia. Compiling the cadastre of natural resources by a territorial principle is necessary. The account of natural resources in such cadastre should conduct on plants and uniform classification units accepted for each aspect of a natural resource.

«Gazprom»: answers to the world economic crisis challenges

Article preview

Much academic work views the Russian gas sector in the first place from the standpoint of security of supply (European security). Concern is expressed about Europe’s level of dependence on Russian gas, and the lack of readily available alternatives. Few academic research, however, aims at discussing impact of the global economic crisis on the Russian sector and Russia’s response to it. This paper aims to contribute to this discussion by considering the Russian gas sector in the context of challenges caused by the economic downturn and by some other factors as well as the way how the Russian gas industry meet them. Discussions of domestic gas industry development and Russia’s export strategies have been set against this background. The structure of the pa- per reflects aforementioned topics.

Phased strategy of drilling manufacture re-structuring and it's economy importance

Article preview

Drilling manufactures have passed several stages of re-structuring, each of them has exhausted it's efficiency. The problems of phased strategy of drilling manufacture re-structuring are examined, and the causes of its insufficient efficiency are analyzed. The necessity of moving toward the new stage of retructuring, connected to the further separation of the functions within the drilling complex and concentration of run-the-business resources on the main activity category, is economically sound.

The perspectives of competitive trade forms development of fuel-energy resources

Article preview

The system of long-term contracts having some advantages is traditionally used for selling most types of mineral resources such as coal, oil, gas, etc. The negotiation mechanism with a chosen subject is usually applied to make a long-term contract. But also there are some other competitive ways to make a contract such as making enquiries, tenders, auctions, exchange auctions. Lately the markets of  short-term contracts have been  developing for  selling mineral production, e.g. so called spot gas or metal markets. The article is devoted to considering some trends of fuel- energy resources selling with Seller-manufacturer participating in different procedures of competitive trade.
