Ultrasonic control of the nonlinear elastic properties of the microcrumbling polycrystalline rocks

The influence of the uniaxial static stress on the Young’s modulus and on the internal friction of the polycrystalline rocks was studied. It was showed, that the effects of micropores and microcracks on the nonlinear elasticity and unelasticity of material are different. This makes possible different control of such parameters as microporosity and microcracking. The study was performed using the original method of loaded complex oscillator.

Ultrasonic study of creep in polycrystalline rocks

The characteristic of the basic operating standard documents in sphere of maintenance of protection of the buildings developed in the Russian Federation is given. Some approaches to evaluate the stability of underground structures subjected to dynamic loads from earthquakes
The scheme of approach of evaluation of the stability of underground structures with account for seismic activity of rock strata is introduced. Some aspects of estimation of stability of underground structures under dynamic loads are also present.
