Justified selection of a seam degassing technology to ensure safety of intensive coal mining

Article preview

The paper contains main aspects of methodological approach to objective analytic assessment of maximum permissible output of the mine faces from the viewpoint of gas factor. Analytic forecast is centered around the assessment of methane inflow into the face area from all possible sources, based on fundamental physical laws, modern tools of mathematical modeling and in-situ tests of main properties and state parameters of the gas-bearing coal formation. Objective and reliable estimation of permissible outputs is a starting point for justified selection of a seam degassing technology, that has to be based on time factor and predicted value of gas recovery from a coal seam to a degassing well. Recommendations have been formulated on the selection of degassing technology for the coal seam «Boldyrevsky» of the Kirov mine, based on the use of cutting-edge technological schemes (hydraulic fracture, carried out from development workings, etc.), successfully implemented on the mentioned site.

Deformational precursors of technogenic earthquakes in mining the hydrocarbon deposits

Article preview

During monitoring since 2005 to 2008 at the Astrakhan gas-field it has been recorded three technogenic earthquakes. Results of geodetic levelling for the given period allow to approve that seismic event is preceded by raisings of a surface and its subsequent subsidence as a its result of unloading. That allows to use geodetic levelling for the forecast of technogenic seismic phenomena for oil and gas fields.

The problems of efficient use of the tumenian reservoirs at final stage of low-pressure gas production and prospects in their solutions

Article preview

The reserves depletion estimation is presented for main (base) fields in the north part of the Tumenian area. The significance of long time production of base fields is shown. The main problems of efficient use are shown for reservoirs at final stage of low-pressure gas field. The methodology associated with solving the problem is formulated for low profitability in low-pressure gas output. The recommendations for State support of subsurface users are prepared for efficient low-pressure gas production and efficient use of reserves at all.

Examination of utilization of the earth’s interior is a wise use of mineral reserves

Article preview

The Russian economy is appreciably defined by the richest minerals -raw potential and effective strategy of its use. The major problems of bodies of the Government in sphere of regulation of attitudes protection of reserves is the objective economic estimation of stocks of minerals, their authentic state account, involving in development of a maximum quantity of minerals at existing economy and technologies, decrease in losses of minerals in extraction and processing, complex processing of raw material, prevention of cases of injurious working off of stocks.

Management of competitiveness of the enterprise in crisis

Article preview

Feature of anti-recessionary management of the organisation consists in the raised complexity of administrative processes. Financial crisis is shown in shortage of money resources, growth of the delayed creditor debts, falling of sales, discontent of the personnel and other adverse factors. Level of requirements to the heads, making the most important, strategic decisions, increases in a geometrical progression In the conditions of a crisis state most important to reduce one expenses and to increase others which can make the company profitable.

The quality of commodity output – the factor of competitiveness iron-ore branch

Article preview

The problems of quality improving of commodity output are the most urgent and up-to date questions in the period of intromission of Russian on the world market. The country possesses of significant mineral raw ferrous materials, which are poor quality. In conjunction with it mining-and-processing integrated works must develop and improve the process of production in order to provide the quality of the products conforming to world requirements. The main task of iron-ore branch in Russia is to maintain the competitive ability on the foreign market.
