Abstract

One of the reasons for the crisis in the extractive industries of Russia is the unsatisfactory state of the economic mechanism of management of the fuel and energy complex. This mechanism is based on the orientation to cost indicators, which is particularly sharply manifested in pricing for the products of these industries. In countries with developed market economies their production, which is of basic importance for the economy, is universally recognized as highly profitable.
