Abstract

The issues of improving the reliability of the safety brake of mine lifting units (MPU) by its duplication are considered. Since its duplication by mechanical method is not possible, it is proposed to use a lifting motor, translating it into the mode of electrodynamic braking. It is shown that with a functioning mechanical brake, a specific mode of simultaneous action (MSA) of two brakes arises. For this purpose, transient processes in the electromechanical system of the hoisting and lowering of the load during its emergency stop have been studied. This made it possible to determine the areas of possible application of two brakes MSA, depending on the mass coefficient of the MPU. To implement the MSA of electrodynamic and mechanical brakes at an emergency stop of the MPU, the mode of electrodynamic braking of an induction motor with an electrolytic capacitor in the rotor rectified current circuit, which allows to create a braking mode without an external DC source, was considered.
