Abstract

Some aspects in application of various designs of drives for high-speed turbocompressors (ТС) for gas-main pipelines are considered. A comparative estimation of the efficiency parameters is carried out for gas-compressor units (GCU) equipped with variable-frequency electric drive and gas turbines. A technique to select the drive type for turbocompressors is described.
