Abstract
The main hydrogeological problems in the development of diamond deposits in Yakutia are related to the need to utilize large volumes of drainage brines from the quarry and waste saline water from the beneficiation plant. The technology for burying these solutions in the permafrost strata is proposed. The results of field experiments are discussed and the processes accompanying the distribution of saline water in the permafrost zone are analyzed.
