Abstract

The basics of bacterial leaching of pyrrhotite and nickel-pyrrhotite concentrates in order to extract copper, nickel, iron from solutions and precious metals from the leaching cakes in the most complete way. The prospects of using biotechnology methods in the conditions of the Norilsk industrial district are outlined. The relevance of bacterial oxidation of non-ferrous and noble metals from tailings of enrichment factories is shown, whose introduction into the production cycle will increase the degree of extraction of the useful component, will promote the introduction of closed technological schemes using biogenic regeneration of waste water, which will significantly reduce pollution of the environment.
