Abstract
The results of long-term studies of the stress-strain state (SSS) formation of the St. Petersburg subway lines are presented. The data obtained testify to the continuing growth of loads on the linings during operation. The source of load growth is vibration, which is transmitted to the outer contour of the lining and contributes to the vibration compaction of the soil mass.
