Strength analysis of the reason of initiation of fatigue defects in winding drums

Abstract
The article deals with the causes of fatigue defects in winding drums of hoisting equipment. Non-destructive tests and stress-strain state analysis using the NE/Nastran8.3 software package for Windows are carried out. The results of calculations can be used for modernization of winding drums.
