Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of placer gold and associated minerals in placers in order to predict bedrock types and to determine the distance of gold transition from bedrock. The research was based on materials collected in the Manya River basin located in the Berezovsky District of Tyumen Region. The research methods used are widely used in geology and are sufficiently accurate, which allows solving the set questions.
