Abstract

Development of oil and gas fields is accompanied by emergency oil spills, which leads to unfavorable environmental situations manifested in groundwater pollution and, accordingly, the formation of lithochemical and hydrochemical pollution zones. In this regard, a rational network of groundwater monitoring in oilfield areas was developed for the purpose of timely detection of pollution, which allows minimizing the negative impact of oil and oil products on the hydrogeological environment.
