Abstract

The article proposes an economic and organizational mechanism of mineral resource base reproduction in the oil industry. The role of the oil industry in the Russian fuel and energy complex and the whole Russian economy is considered. The main factors restraining the inflow of investments into the exploration industry are given. Measures to attract funds to reproduce the mineral resource base by improving financial and credit mechanisms, licensing system and reforming the fiscal system of subsoil use are developed.
