Abstract

The paper investigates the influence of the reagent (sulfuric acid) temperature on the efficiency of copper leaching from oxides in storage of mined rock as technogenic deposits (dumps and tailings). It was revealed that with the temperature rise (within the range of 20 °C to 50 °C) there takes place an increase in leaching speed and efficiency. It was established that the optimal temperature of sulfuric acid should equal ≈30 °C.
