Informativeness of transient characteristics of fast processes of induced polarization in the search for gold-sulfide ores

Abstract
The possibility to use the early stage of induced polarization technique in prospecting for gold-sulfide ores in complicated geological and geophysical environments is presented. Analysis of time response of the fast-decaying induced polarization allowed distinguishing the chargeability anomalies for non-ore sulfides from those of productive gold-sulfide mineralization.
