Abstract

The application of CMMs (Computer Maintenance Management) systems in coal-mines should secure continuity of utilized machines’ work. It can result in considerable costs’ reduction due to extension of its exploitation period and at the same time – prolongation of utilization of those machines. The damage’s frequency of hewing process with particular regard to cutting tumble heading machines and the possibility of application of specialized assisting computer program CMMs’ category was presented as an example.
