Abstract

The German Democratic Republic is an integral part of the world system of socialism and actively participates in the international socialist division of labor. The interstate division of labor, being the most important economic regularity of the development of the world socialist system, is becoming more and more important in accelerating the rate of expanded socialist reproduction and harbors inexhaustible possibilities for the flourishing of each socialist country and the world socialist commonwealth as a whole.
