Германская Демократическая Республика является неотъемлемой составной частью мировой системы социализма, она активно участвует в международном социалистическом разделении труда. Межгосударст­венное разделение труда, являясь важнейшей экономической закономер­ностью развития мировой социалистической системы, приобретает все более важное значение в ускорении темпов расширенного социалистического воспроизводства и таит в себе неисчерпаемые возможности рас­цвета каждой социалистической страны и мирового социалистического содружества в целом.

The German Democratic Republic is an integral part of the world system of socialism and actively participates in the international socialist division of labor. The interstate division of labor, being the most important economic regularity of the development of the world socialist system, is becoming more and more important in accelerating the rate of expanded socialist reproduction and harbors inexhaustible possibilities for the flourishing of each socialist country and the world socialist commonwealth as a whole.
