Development of Scada-model for trunk gas pipeline's compressor station

Article preview

Nowadays, at all levels of created automated control systems for technological processes, programmable technical means are used that require specific software within framework of necessary functional tasks. This software should include a set of software tools that communicate with technical devices and organize «human-machine interface» (HMI) in the form of application software for AWPs with assigned communication tasks for persons, responsible for management decision-making: operators, dispatchers, managers. However, hardware architecture is unique for each particular case, so it is necessary to refine or create a new control system. This is a rather laborious process. To simplify creation of such systems SCADA-systems are used. Article is devoted to development of SCADA-component for trunk gas pipeline's compressor workshop. Developed component allows tracking the characteristics of gas transportation process selected by operator. Development is based on «Windows» operating system and integrated environment TRACE MODE (SCADA/HMI).

Theoretical aspects of the technical level estimation of electrical engineering complexes

Article preview

The results of the analysis of methods allowing to evaluate the technical level of the electro technical complex (ETC) are presented and an original technique based on the application of the integral indicator is presented. The characteristic of each stage of the technique is given. The proposed scientific and methodological apparatus for assessing the technical level of the ETС is illustrated by the examples of the executive elements of the ETC comparison (internal combustion engines) using an integral quality index that links both the main characteristics of the samples and the means spent for achieving them. The proposed approach for assessing the technical level and quality of the ETC on the basis of an integral indicator should be carried out already at early stages of the life cycle when solving the following problems: the rationale for the economic feasibility of developing new or improving the quality of the produced ETCs; choice of the best option for the developed ETC; justification of requirements for the ETC; decision-making on the establishment and removal of ETC from production; substantiation of the rules of operation of the ETC in various conditions.

Methods of evaluation of vibrational activity of power plants using the similarity theory and dimensional analysis

Article preview

The level and the nature of changes of vibrational parameters are one of the most important indicators of the technical state of diesel engines as the most sensitive to various derivations from nor-mal technical condition.  This article discusses methods of assessment of vibration activity of engines generated by gasdynamic and mechanical factors.  The possibility of using the methods of similarity theory and dimensional analysis in the development of new and improvement of existing methods of vibrational diagnostic of internal combustion engines, which significantly increases the informativeness of vibrational diagnostic of the engine. These criteria allows to simulate and study the impact of gas dynamic processes in combustion of fuel on the vibration of internal combustion engines, consider the impact on the relocation of the piston on the vibration activity of diesel and dependence of vibration velocity on the density of the material and to carry out measurements of vibration velocity on the surface of the cylinder block.  The methods, that authors propose, are the basis for methods of determining of vibrational activity of dieselengines, are adequate to complexity of this process and to possibilities of measurement equipment.

Method of identifying models of electronic equipment failure of automation control of dynamic systems

Article preview

In the article the effective non-parametric method to identify patterns of failures of electronic equipment automation of dynamic systems. The essence of the offered method is that on the small selections presented in the form of a variation row, practically always it is possible to find such transformation as a result of which the statistics which isn't depending on parameters of distribution of population will turn out. It is advisable to define function of distribution of such statistics as a result of statistical modeling if analytical construction it is complicated.
