Optimization of protective pillars parameters of mine shafts at the ore mines of OJSC «MMK «Norilsk Nickel»

The Article presents the results of long-term investigations of the problem concerning the protection of shafts with pillars of reduced sizes under conditions of the Talnakh and Oktiabrsky deposits. The principal potentiality of partial mining of shaft-bottom pillars VS-3 and GS has been proved at the Oktiabrsky ore mine. Certain recommendations are given on optimization of parameters of shaft-bottom protective pillars.

Studies of the stress-strain state of intrusion in the process of joint mining of ore deposits of the Oktyabrskiy and Talnakhskiy deposits

Features of the stress field in the ore-bearing intrusions of the October and Talnakhskiy deposits, with taking into account the depth of the ore deposits and the formation of tectonic disturbances are considered. Analysis of tension underworked and overworked intrusion. The dependencies  of stress  field formation in the intrusion in the joint working out of intrusion ore deposits are obtained. Recommendations on joint working out of intrusion ore deposits Oktyabrskiy and Talnakhskiy deposits are given.

The analysis is given of the formation of stress-strain state of the protective pillar and its enclosing rocks. Geomechanical foundations of the safe extraction in joint mining of rich, coppery and ore patches in deep ore mines at Тalnakh

The paper deals with the specific formation of stress fields in ore-bearing intrusions at the Oktiabrsky and Talnakh ore deposits with due account of depth of occurrence and formation of tectonic disturbances. The authors have investigated the influence of mining works on stress state of ore-bearing portion of the intrusion. The relationships were obtained in terms of the formation of stress fields in the intrusion during its undermining, overmining and joint mining of several ore deposits. Some recommendations are given for mining of series of ore formations at the Oktiabrsky and Talnakh deposits.
