Development of new compositions for dust control in the mining and mineral transportation industry
Dust control in summer and winter periods is a topical problem associated with conducting open pit mining operations; however, at negative temperatures the additional requirements are imposed on dust suppressants. Preventive compositions are proposed, in which light and heavy gas oils, obtained from catalytic cracking and delayed coking, are used as base components. Involvement of heavy fractions allows to increase the flash point, thereby reducing the flammability of dust suppressant, improve its adhesion properties by increasing the content of polyaromatic hydrocarbons and reduce the cost of the final product. In order to improve low-temperature and adsorption properties of developed dust suppressants, heavy oil residues (cracking residue and tar) are included in their composition in various concentrations: 2-10 wt.%. Alternative compositions of dust suppressants, obtained by water emulsification of vinylated alkyd oligomer, are developed; the ability of this dispersion to form strong films on dusty surfaces is examined. The efficiency of using aqueous solution of vinylated alkyd oligomer as a summer dust suppressant is demonstrated. The results of this study include the development of new preventive compositions with improved low-temperature properties and confirmation of the theoretical part of the study by the results of performance tests on a laboratory facility.Alternative compositions of dust suppressors have been developed, which were obtained by emulsifying a vinyl alkyd oligomer (VAO) in water; the ability of this dispersion to form strong films on dusty surfaces has been studied. The efficiency of using an aqueous solution of vinyl alkyd oligomer in the summer period as a dust suppressant is shown. The results of this study are the development of new prophylactic formulations with improved low-temperature properties and confirmation of the theoretical part of the study by the results of tests of operational characteristics in a laboratory facility.

Development of institute of financial control in construction
- Authors:
- V. P. Grakhov
- O. L. Chazova
The article is devoted to the complex research of development of Institute of financial control in construction. Based on the analysis of approaches of researchers to definition of concept «financial control», sets out its objectives and importance. Identifies and describes the characteristic features of state and non-state financial control. To examine the existing mechanisms of financial control system in construction in General, to prevent violations and to create the basis for the adoption of specific management decisions, it is proposed to study three main areas. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the current legislation in the field of formation of financial control in the construction and practice of its application. Presents substantial changes in the legal regulation of the contract system in the sphere of procurement for state and municipal needs, including the adjustment of the scheme of carrying out of competitive procedures by the customer. In this regard, an important role plays the method of calculation of the final rating of participants of procurement procedures, allowing to determine the winner in accordance with predetermined criteria and their weighting factors. This area is also complemented by the consideration of issues related to the establishment of the procedure for the implementation of banking support contracts, allowing to provide the customer more effective control over the observance of contractual obligations with suppliers (contractors, performers). The conducted researches allow to draw a conclusion about the need to rethink and address issues related to efficiency of use of budget investments in objects of capital construction. In this regard, the main priorities of improving financial control in the construction industry to achieve the desired rates of economic development.

Unique engineering and technology for drilling boreholes in Antarctic ice
- Authors:
- Vladimir S. Litvinenko
As the result of many years of research into the processes of the transfer of ice as a rock mass on a global scale, concerning the Antarctic ice sheet at the ultra-deep 5G borehole, a discovery has been made that is of international significance in the areas of glaciology and geodynamics. Those who created the theory of thermal and mechanical penetration into ice and loose sediments have developed unique technology and engineering processes in order to drill boreholes using thermal and mechanical methods.

The development of ideas for improving explosive destruction of rock masses – the basis of progress in mining
- Authors:
- S. D. Viktorov
- V. M. Zakalinskii
The article describes the main areas of research in the field of the explosive destruction of rocks used in mining. The results of studies carried out in recent years are presented. Information on possi-ble applications for breaking up rocks of various energy sources is provided. Ideas are given on the possibility of raising the efficiency of explosives for mining rock by increasing the scale of the ex-plosive destruction. Information about the widespread adoption of these methods at Russia’s biggest iron ore companies is presented. Recent results on the fracture processes at different levels of scale up to destruction to form particles of submicron size are shown. Studying the structural transforma-tions of rock mass at the micro and macro features of allocation and distribution of energy in the charges of various designs allowed us to control the action of a new explosion by breaking up rock masses and the complex structure of multicomponent fields.

Analysis and synthesis of commercial oil using radioisotope measuring the density
- Authors:
- I. N. Voityuk
This article deals with a system of commercial accounting of oil transported using radioisotope measuring the density, i.e. measurement-wise number of borehole fluid. In this paper we developed a connection diagram for measuring the density of radioisotope in the main pipeline and verification tools for the measurement system.
