V. I. Lenin’s book “Left-Wing” Communism: An Infantile Disorder is an outstanding contribution to the development of the tactics of the world communist movement.
- Authors:
- K. A. Ivanova
Forty years ago, in June 1920, V. I. Lenin’s brilliant work “Left‑Wing” Communism: An Infantile Disorder was published. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin modestly called this outstanding theoretical contribution to the treasure trove of Marxism‑Leninism “an attempt at a popular outline of Marxist strategy and tactics”. In reality, however, Lenin’s words about the “Manifesto of the Communist Party” by K. Marx and F. Engels can rightfully be applied to it: “This little book is worth whole volumes.”

V. I. Lenin’s book “Materialism and Empirio‑criticism” and modern physics
- Authors:
- L. V. Smirnov
V. I. Lenin’s book “Materialism and Empirio‑criticism” was published half a century ago. During this time, it has successfully stood the test of time and become even more relevant. In this work, further developing dialectical and historical materialism and combating attempts by revisionists and bourgeois philosophers to “refute and surpass” Marxism, V. I. Lenin at the same time provided a detailed analysis of the natural and necessary connection between natural science and philosophy, showing that modern natural science is an arena of the most acute struggle between two irreconcilable philosophical parties – the struggle between materialism and idealism. Examining the “crisis of physics” that arose at the beginning of the 20th century, V. I. Lenin revealed the causes of “physical idealism” and predicted the way out of this crisis.

- S. S. Barsuk

Among the richest ideological legacy left by V. I. Lenin, the cooperative plan occupies an important place. V. I. Lenin’s doctrine of cooperation as the main path for drawing the multimillion masses of the peasantry to socialism is the foundation of the agrarian policy of the proletariat during the transitional period from capitalism to socialism. The communist and workers’ parties of the people’s democracies, relying on Lenin’s cooperative plan and creatively using the experience of the socialist transformation of agriculture in the Soviet Union, are successfully carrying out the cooperation of the peasantry.
