Abstract

The analysis of dewatering system operation during transition to underground development of the Mir kimberlite pipe is given. Numerical geofiltration model of the field area is developed, which is used to compare different scenarios of dewatering system operation. Forecasts of brine inflows to the drainage system and changes in levels in the Meteoro-Ichersky aquifer complex for the period up to 2020 are given. Recommendations on drainage system optimization taking into account drainage brines burial are developed.
