Unloading of clay soils in natural conditions and related phenomena

Abstract
Examples are given of the consequences of natural unloading of clays at the base of river valleys (Lower Pechora, Moscow, etc.). It is concluded about the erosion unloading, which results in decompaction of clays and their displacement of landslide nature.
