Abstract

The Sverdlovsk Region has three types of districts according to the geological conditions of solid domestic and industrial waste storage: the eastern part of the region (the most favorable conditions), the western part and the districts of the mining and industrial Urals (the most unfavorable). The environmental impact of the components of waste storage is manifested in the pollution of air, soil, surface and groundwater, and in changes in the rocks of the base of structures.
