Abstract

The main methods of creating bridge geodetic networks are considered: bridge triangulation, trilateration and linear-angular networks. Their advantages and disadvantages are revealed and justified. Pre-calculations of the accuracy for each type of network were made and error ellipses were constructed. The accuracy analysis has revealed that the smallest error along the bridge crossing axis is provided by tri-lateration method, which is very essential, since in bridge construction the requirements for accuracy along the bridge axis are higher than in the crossing direction. The economical estimation of the most frequently used methods of bridge network design: triangulation and trilateration methods has been made. On the basis of the conducted research, the conclusion about the expediency of using trilateration method in production has been made.
