Main areas of improvement of the alumina production model for plants operating according to the Bayer method

Abstract

The model of alumina production created earlier at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys according to Bayer method for conditions of the Nikolaev alumina refinery is evaluated. The model makes it possible to quickly assess the work of the whole alumina production and to choose the option that provides the best economic performance. The tasks for further improvement of the program associated with the optimization of the main stages of alumina production - leaching and decomposition are considered.
