Abstract

The study of underground voids and chambers is an important mining and geodetic problem. In the article the classification of methods for solving these problems is proposed in relation to the surveying of chambers in the development of large ore deposits. Two most promising surveying methods are considered: photoplanimetric analysis and laser scanning systems. The essence of these methods is explained, brief descriptions and comparative characteristics of devices, as well as methods of thematic measurements are given.
