Abstract
The article presents the problems of management and regulation of economic activity in the forest and park zones of St. Petersburg. Such topical problems as the legal status, economic features of forestry activities, value assessment of forest lands, forest legislation, financing mechanism and issues of redevelopment of urban recreational forests are studied.
