Abstract

The paper presents results of investigation into the influence of basic geological, mining and engineering factors of rock displacement in development workings. Conclusions are drawn on the mechanics of rock swelling. A conclusion is made on possible ways to secure technologically satisfactory condition of development workings. Optimal parameters of longwall mining with advance second working in the lower face.
