Research of properties of building materials modified by hydrophobic additives on the basis of peat

Abstract
The basic principles of production of peat-based waterproofing materials are considered. These substances are used to improve the properties of building materials. Application of hydrophobization method allows to reduce water absorption of building materials at least twice without deterioration of their strength characteristics.
