Research of properties of building materials modified by hydrophobic additives on the basis of peat

Abstract

The basic principles in production of peat-based waterproofing agents are considered. These agents used to enhance properties of construction materials. Application of the hydrophobization method allows at least two-fold reduction of water absorption by construction materials without deterioration of their strength properties.
