Abstract
A hydrophobic organic gel for water-release limitation technologies in oil wells has been developed. The dependence of gel efficiency and rheological properties of waterproofing on the gel base on the ratio of components and their concentration in hydrocarbon solvent has been studied. The influence of waterproofing on the wettability of silica sand and relative permeability of water in the reservoir model was investigated.
