Optimization of operation modes of gas pumping units in the system of compressor station compression

Abstract
Criteria and algorithm are developed to optimize load distribution between gas compressor units in order to reduce energy consumption for gas transportation. Using the example of a threeunit compressor station operational performance of various compressing schemes is assessed basing on the approach developed.
