Abstract

The Topazovsky area was investigated as. Its position is very favorable. It is situated in the industrially developed region in some kilometers from the Trans-Siberian Railroad. Proximity to the Pokrovsky mine makes it possible to regard the area as an additional source of raw materials for the Pokrovsky ore mining and processing enterprise. Metallogenic analysis was carried out and the classification of gold-ore deposits of the Amur region was made to evaluate the Topazovsky area. The classification included the regional and local characteristics of nine gold ore deposits. These deposits were evaluated on the basis their geotectonic position, structural and formation types of the province, structural position of ore field and ore controlling structure, enclosing rock, morphological type of mineralization and their belonging to an ore formation.
