Abstract

The article contains consideration of changes in the energy policy of Germany and their implications for Russian-German economic relations. Two pillars of German energy policy have been defined: the necessity of guaranteeing own energy security and the obligations towards its EU partners. The question of how will the economic relations between Russia and Germany develop based on objective reality of German energy policy is also among the others, which are considered in the article.
