Abstract
The article addresses the implementation and application of computer-aided design and engineering (CAD/CAE) software by engineering companies in the mining sector. The importance of the computer technology application for the company innovation activities is indicated. The report deals with the current situation and challenges faced by companies in the selection, implementation and application of advanced integrated computer-aided systems.
