One Cauchy problem for unsteady flow

Abstract

An unsteady axisymmetric non-swirling flow of an incompressible ideal fluid in the absence of body forces is considered. The problem is solved in a cylindrical coordinate system (r, φ, z), the origin of which coincides with the center of a circular outlet of very large diameter, the z‑axis with the axis of symmetry of the flow, and the position of the plane φ = 0 is immaterial due to axial symmetry.
