Brake bogie for automatic speed control of mine trains on steep slopes

Abstract

At the experimental site of the trust “Chiaturmanganese” a brake bogie for automatic speed control of mine trains on steep downhill slopes was tested, in which for actuation of the mechanical braking system an articulated-lever drive mechanism is used, providing reliable adhesion of the drive rollers with the side surfaces of the rail.
