Assessment of engineering-geological phenomena and processes in the mining zone at coal and ore deposits in connection with the tasks of environmental protection
Abstract
Mining areas are characterized by significant changes in the natural environment. Extraction of large volumes of minerals and ore-bearing rocks, as well as underground water from the subsurface disturbs the natural conditions of rock occurrence, promotes the development of complex physical, chemical and engineering-geological processes and phenomena in the Earth's crust.
