Районы горнодобывающей промышленности характеризуются значительными изменениями природной обстановки. Извлечение из недр больших объемов по­лезных ископаемых и рудовмещающих пород, а также подземных вод нарушает естественные условия залегания пород, способствует развитию в земной ко­ре сложных физико-химических и инженерно-геологических процессов и явле­ний.

Mining areas are characterized by significant changes in the natural environment. Extraction of large volumes of minerals and ore-bearing rocks, as well as underground water from the subsurface disturbs the natural conditions of rock occurrence, promotes the development of complex physical, chemical and engineering-geological processes and phenomena in the Earth's crust.
