Evaluation of gas parameters in explosive type displacement pumps

Gas explosion and detonated waves parameters were determined for an ideal gas in an enclosed volume with rigid walls in gas systems on the border between explosive gases and liquids for different boundary conditions. Examples of the explosion of the combustible mixture of methane and air, with full and partial oxidation of methane have been considered.

Hydraulic coarseness of coal particles

Having accounted coal particles after fragmentation on different equipment, particles in the form of needles, cubes, plates, blocks and pyramids were distinguished. After the analysis of the research to define the speed hindered falling of particles of different forms in water (hydraulic fineness) there have been proposed dependencies considering the density of the heterogeneous carrier phase, effective viscosity of water containing coal mud in different quantity, equivalent diameter for different forms of coal particles and the seeming density of dry coal at a specific ash content and average humidity.

Determination of quantity of coal grains by equations of total characteristic of coarseness

Volume shares taken by every phase of the heterogeneous mixture for coal particles in the shape of cubes, plates, needles, bricks and pyramids allow defining true density of mark D bank coal. Using the fineness all-up, taking into account the ash content and the forms of the extruded coal particles, we obtained the volume for heterogeneous water-coal suspension 16 % less than the cubic grains volume, calculated by the old method.

Pumps for transporting petroleum products over long distances

Transportation of petroleum products by pipelines in Russia is carried out by centrifugal pumps of type NM in accordance with GOST. A description of the operation of a volumetric explosion pump, protected by a patent of the Russian Federation, which allows to reduce the number of pumping pumping stations at main slurry pipelines, is given.

Piping system for transportation of solid materials

Pipeline transportation in normal operation has advantages over other modes of transportation in that it is less polluting to air, water and land. When a pipeline bursts as a result of a hydrostroke, increased wear and tear of pipe sections or sudden changes in ambient air temperature, these advantages are lost.
