Challenges of increasing the efficiency of OAO Vorgashorskaya Mine

The article considers the problems relevant to OAO Vorgashorskaya Mine: the current state of the main mining equipment, the efficiency of the use of labor resources and funds for remuneration of labor, sales markets. The ongoing process of merging the two largest enterprises of the Vorkuta industrial district - OAO Vorkutaugol and OAO Vorgashorskaya Mine - is beneficial for both parties. The first enterprise needs to diversify its consumer base. The second enterprise can increase sales of coal products at the expense of the use of developed markets of the first one. The necessity of using the competitive advantages of OAO Vorgashorskaya Mine as a basis for increasing the volume of production aimed at new markets is shown. Attention is paid to a set of measures to improve the financial stability of the mine and the efficiency of production and sales of coal products.

The role of the system of material incentives in increasing the efficiency of production in OAO Vorkutaugol

The issues of development of the system of material stimulation of employees of OAO Vorkutaugol in terms of achievement of strategic goals of the association are reflected, motivational processes and their influence on provision of effective stimulation are considered. It is pointed out that the level of labor remuneration costs is at the junction of interests of an enterprise and an employee. The acceptable level of company expenses on stimulation should exceed the expenses of worker on performance of labor activity, providing his motivation. In order to develop an effective system of remuneration of labor of OAO Vorkutaugol it is necessary to outline a clear development strategy. Determination of the stage of life cycle, where the enterprise is located, seems to be of primary importance. Attention is also paid to establishment of variable and constant parts of employee's earnings depending on his readiness to take risks for the sake of enterprise's strategy and increase of efficiency of production and sales of coal products.

Improvement of the Employee Incentive System at OJSC Vorgashorskaya Mine

The description and analysis of the current position of the incentive system of the employees of OJSC Vorgashorskaya Mine are given. Comparison of two approaches to determination of labor remuneration costs - labor and market ones - is given. The last one means determination of personal interest of an employee in the stable position of a mine in the market: the higher is a worker's labor performance, the higher is his income, which is directly connected with the enterprise income. At present demand for coal is one of the main factors influencing the mining plan of OJSC "Vorgashorskaya Mine". It has been revealed that the market orientation is currently preferable for the mine. In this connection a variant of improvement of the system of bonus payment to engineering and technical workers (ETW) of the mine management apparatus, which depends on the indicator of reduction of production cost. It introduces a fund-forming indicator of premiums, called the rate of cost reduction, the numerical value of which does not remain constant for the next planning period, and changes according to changes in the cost structure. In addition, the paper proposes to add two more grades to the wage grid. This achieves the stimulation of workers with the highest discharge, who make a great contribution to the results of both the collective and the enterprise as a whole. In the new tariff conditions, the employee sees the prospects of growth of his skills, professionalism and, of course, his income.
