Development of the basis for the construction of acoustic-radar systems of remote sensing of the surrounding space for environmental monitoring tasks

Article preview

The basics of construction and use of radio acoustic remote sensing systems for environmental monitoring tasks are considered. Information about hardware, software and algorithmic support of the system is given. The advantages of the system include ultra-operational high-precision non-contact remote temperature and humidity measurements, correlation principles of wind speed measurements, adaptive algorithms of measurements at high altitudes, kitting with airborne radar stations.

Development of remote sensing location system for environmental monitoring of natural and man-made objects

Article preview

The development of a system of local sensors for the control of man-made and natural objects of high environmental risk is considered. The theoretical aspect of the work is based on the developed and investigated models of formation of information signals and fields. We propose an approach characterized by the use of non-metric synthesis techniques, which create a class of algorithms that do not require knowledge of the statistics of the spatial-frequency spectra of the phono-target environment.

Development of principles for building an integrated system of operational monitoring of water bodies and hydraulic structures

Article preview

The principles of construction of the complex allowing to carry out the survey of water objects and hydraulic structures in the operative mode are considered. The complex includes a set of devices working on different principles and algorithms of combining measurement data, which increase the completeness of control of surveyed objects. Instrumentation facilities of the complex include the following: subsurface radar for generating three-dimensional images (volumetric maps) of the subsurface down to 30-50 meters at photographic survey speed up to 20 km/h; subsurface acoustic locator for generating three-dimensional images (volumetric maps) of the subsurface; multi-channel echo sounder for area survey of bottom surface relief of water bodies and bottom formations structure; flow meter-level gauge for measuring speed, discharge and liquid level in pipelines, The results obtained in the course of the work are used at the Department of Radioelectronics of Information Systems for training students of the specialty 2007 “Radio Engineering”.

Development of remote sensing localization system for ecological monitoring of natural and anthropogenic objects

Article preview

The fundamentals of radioacoustic sensing systems for remote sensing are investigated to solve the problems of environmental monitoring. The problem of the method and ways of its solution are defined. Hardware, software and intellectual means of the systems are developed. It is noted that the systems allow to carry out ultrafast high-precision remote measurements of temperature and humidity, to use correlation principles of wind speed measurement, adaptive algorithms of measurements for high altitudes, to integrate with aerological radar stations.
