The most widely spread methods of measuring peat moisture are considered. Moisture-meters based on these methods and currently offered on the Russian market of the leading manufacturers are described. The main directions of further development of modern peat moisture measuring are determined.
Since 1991 till the year of 2000 more than 300 serious accidents happened in Russia. The significant part of the accidents at main pipelines was connected with electrochemical corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and microbiological corrosion. System analysis of the accident reasons cannot be given without probabilistic and statistical approach, which assumes that the reason of the accident is the combination of many influencing factors. At the same time usage of the multivariate analysis is quite complicated task due to a large amount of factors, influencing the pipelines accident rate, insufficient statistics and unauthentic documentation of the accident causes .
It is shown the problem of measurement of level in oil tanks. Considered the use of a method of the sway electromagnetic radiation for the control of level of section of environments in tanks, made its mathematical description, resulted the estimation of results of practical application.
With the aim of increasing the accuracy of humidity measurement in bulk materials with application of the dynamic thermal vacuum method within the range above 20 % it was suggested to use temperature curve parameters of the vacuumized sample which characterize moisture freezing in the material. The paper offers analytical dependences describing correlations between the volume of water in the vacuumized sample before crystallization begins and parameters of the temperature curve and initial moisture content in the material as well as experimental research results that prove the adequacy of the model offered.
The paper presents a new automatic monitoring method of open-pit dump truck loading based on utilization of vehicle-mounted integrated systems characterized with improved accuracy up to 2,5-3 % of the truck nominal capacity.
The basic directions of increase of efficiency of using of quarry motor transport are analyzed: careful choice of dump truck model; development of systems of control of loading of heavy-duty dump trucks; use of new automated systems of control of quarry motor transport. The modern automated system of dispatching of mobile quarry equipment, functioning with the support of global GPS positioning system, is considered.
The analysis of loading control of open-pit dump trucks with the use of loading passports is presented. Advantages and disadvantages of automatic control of loading by means of built-in on-board systems are considered.
