With the aim of increasing the accuracy of humidity measurement in bulk materials with application of the dynamic thermal vacuum method within the range above 20 % it was suggested to use temperature curve parameters of the vacuumized sample which characterize moisture freezing in the material. The paper offers analytical dependences describing correlations between the volume of water in the vacuumized sample before crystallization begins and parameters of the temperature curve and initial moisture content in the material as well as experimental research results that prove the adequacy of the model offered.
The paper presents a new automatic monitoring method of open-pit dump truck loading based on utilization of vehicle-mounted integrated systems characterized with improved accuracy up to 2,5-3 % of the truck nominal capacity.
For diagnosing transmission of the mountain machine without installation of expensive gauges pilot diagnostics on parameters of a feed of the electric motor, based on the assumption can be used, that the majority of the indignations arising in transmission and influencing at the moment of resistance, overcome by the engine, affects change of instant power consumed by the electric motor.
The article describes the history of the formation and development of the Faculty of Mining and Electrical Engineering at the St. Petersburg State Mining Institute. Its current state is described. Information about leading scientists, founders of the faculty is presented.
The analysis of loading control of open-pit dump trucks with the use of loading passports is presented. Advantages and disadvantages of automatic control of loading by means of built-in on-board systems are considered.
A modern flame detector (sensor), which determines the moment of fire initiation, and a gas detector, which measures the concentration of various gases in the environment, are considered. A laboratory bench was developed to study and investigate the operation of these sensors.
A brief review and analysis of on-board systems of heavy-duty quarry vehicles developed in recent years in our country and abroad for normalization of dump trucks loading within their nominal capacity and accounting of transported rock mass and the number of full-load trips is presented.
Measurement of the mass of the cargo directly in the body of a heavy-duty dump truck is carried out by the built-in weighing device by gas pressure in the cylinders of the pneumohydraulic suspension.
The sprung part of the dump truck BelAZ-549 is supported on the front and rear wheels through pneumatic springs (suspension cylinders).
Increasing the accuracy of measuring the mass of cargo in the body of a stationary dump truck is possible by reducing the error of constructive nature due to the forces of dry friction of the contacting surfaces of the suspension cylinders.
The main indicator characterizing the work of a heavy-duty dump truck BelAZ-549 is the mass of transported cargo. Automatic accounting of this indicator can be performed with the help of the built-in device both in static and dynamic modes ...
One of the ways to determine the mass of the cargo directly in the dump truck is a combined measurement of pressure in the cavities of the rear cylinders of the pneumohydraulic suspension and in the pressure line of the cylinders of the cylinders of the platform lifting mechanism when unloading the dump truck ...
At automation of operational accounting of quarry motor transport work with the help of built-in weighing devices there is a necessity of accumulation of information about the mass of the transported cargo for a working shift. This task can be solved by means of digital totalizers ...
In the development of mineral deposits by open-pit method for transportation of rock mass is the most promising road transport, and, in particular, heavy-duty dump trucks of the Belarusian Automobile Plant BelAZ-540, BelAZ-548A and BelAZ-549 with carrying capacity of 27, 40 and 75 tons, respectively. Improving the efficiency of the use of dump trucks is hindered by the imperfection of the existing operational control of the mass of the transported cargo and the lack of normalization of loading dump trucks at excavators ...
