Diakoptic approaches to modeling and calculations of complex systems are considered. Such approaches envisage the construction of systematic procedures for de-composition of the system under study into a combination of indecomposable subsystems and effective recomposition of partial solutions of subsystems, taking into account the links between them, into a global solution of the metasystem.
Prospects of application of STATCOM in the power supply system of metallurgical enterprises consist in the use of its dynamic qualities in voltage maintenance and the possibility of working as an active filter of higher harmonics created by extraneous sources.
