The article studies features of development gallery maintenance in zones of increased formation pressure in the Kuznetsk Coal Basin. Experience has been analyzed of applying the cable roof bolting in overworked development galleries in mining superimposed coal seams. Parameters of cable roof bolting have been determined which impact on its performance in conditions of increased formation pressure.
The article analyzes ways to reduce the impact of rock pressure by preemptive weakening of the roof rocks, as well as the application of technical solutions to select rational parameters of protective pillars, fixing and reinforcement of mine support.
