One of the key elements of increasing productivity and efficiency of excavators, as well as cost reduction is a high degree of automation and implementation of computer systems for data collection, analysis and planning of technological parameters of mining operations. The article reveals the possibilities of optimization of planning and production of mining operations with the use of computer modeling.
The article describes the experience of application of an innovative methodology for studying the impact of blasting on the deformation of buildings and other structures using fiber-optic measuring systems. With the help of such systems it is possible to measure the deformation of structures both on short-term (1/300 s) and long-term (several months) time intervals.
