One of the key elements enhancing performance and efficiency characteristics of excavating machines as well as reducing costs is a high degree of automation and introduction of computerized systems to collect, analyze data and plan technological parameters of mining. The article reveals possibilities to optimize mining planning and production with application of computer simulation.
The article describes the experience of application of an innovative methodology for studying the impact of blasting on the deformation of buildings and other structures using fiber-optic measuring systems. With the help of such systems it is possible to measure the deformation of structures both on short-term (1/300 s) and long-term (several months) time intervals.
