Model of effective explosive crushing of rocks at quarries

On the basis of experimental data and theoretical generalization parities for calculation of parameters of the chisel and explosive works, providing the set degree of explosive crushing of mountain weight are offered by manufacture of mass explosions on quarries in view of physico-technical properties of rocks and thermodynamic parameters of explosives.

Evaluation of efficiency of rock fracturing processes by explosion of elongated explosive charges based on the results of experiments on Plexiglas blocks

Results of researches on explosion of microcharges of explosives in blocks of an organic glass are resulted. On the basis of the received data and a theoretical substantiation laws of processes of deformation and destruction of blocks from artificial materials are established.

Theoretical estimates of the PQSW theory of rock fracture processes by camouflage explosion of elongated charges

A calculation scheme based on the phenomenological quasi-static-wave (PQSW) theory is proposed for determining the parameters of fracture zones during the explosion of camouflage charges. The relations of change of rock loading parameters from the structure of explosive charges are obtained.

Regularities of formation of zones of fine and radial cracking in the destruction of rocks by explosion of elongated charges

A large number of scientific, research, experimental and experimental-industrial works both in Russia (USSR) and abroad are devoted to the processes of destruction of rocks by explosion. As a result of these works, the basic laws of deformation and destruction of rocks by explosion have been established. Nevertheless, when solving specific practical problems in specific mining and technical conditions it is necessary to carry out additional research and experimental work, allowing with a given efficiency and reliability to conduct drilling and blasting operations. This is due, firstly, to the complexity of the structure and, accordingly, the wide variability of properties of objects deformed and destroyed by explosion; secondly, mining-technical and technological features of blasting and, thirdly, the imperfection of developed models of explosive impact on deformable and destructible environment.
